Work in progress

The next project, going forward from Jihad in Paradise, is a political thriller set in Singapore and Southeast Asia. The novel, featuring such contemporary threats as maritime terrorism and an al Qaeda plot to assassinate the leaders of Pacific Rim countries at an international economics conference, is more than half finished in second draft. Tentatively entitled The Pacifist, it is inspired by the stories written by masters of the genre, including Graham Greene and John Le Carre.
